Our Story

Merri was born from a civil engineer’s long-standing relationship with materials.
Concrete, stone, brick, volcanic rock, mortar, aggregate…

For years, I worked with these materials that keep structures standing. I always saw them as part of a wall, a foundation, a load-bearing element. That is, until one day, when I wanted to place these strong and honest materials at the center of a story.

Then I realized that in life, human beings also need a foundation, a support, a light. And my light was already inside these materials that I had been holding in my hands for years.
My purpose on this journey was not to conceal the raw material, but on the contrary, to make its character visible. Because reality is hidden not in perfection, but in texture, weight, and traces.

There was only one sentence that guided me while founding this brand:
“I can construct light, too.”
Today, every vessel I craft is a new form of a structure that touches the soul. Every candle is a warm interpretation of the engineering spirit. Every collection is a light rising from the earth.
